Deadspace announce cover and name of next full length album
We would like to take this opportunity to reveal to you the front cover and title of our upcoming full length record. This artwork was created by Drew James Griffiths at Asphodel Creative and we believe it truly sums up entire record perfectly. The artwork was shot under water with an underwater camera and manipulated by Drew.
"The Liquid Sky" is, in our opinion, the true follow up to our debut record "The Promise Of Oblivion". The record follows a story of an individual who compensates for his despondence with self destructive behaviour. Falling deep into the rabbit hole of substance abuse and questionable life choices until it becomes apparent there is no turning back. The second half of the album delves into the concept of complete renal failure, a coma, regret, acceptance, death and the emotional trauma inflicted on loved ones who are the ultimate victims.
There is always a strong element of auto-biographic reflection in our music. An approximation of $1500AUD worth of liquor was consumed during the writing process of this record and we are proud of the sounds and textures we have created.
This is the first update.
Keep an eye out for more information and previews through ourselves and Talheim Records in the lead up to the November release date.
